Cookie Dough Dip Recipes

Hey everyone! I will continue to add fall related baking/DIY’s, but since December will be soon approaching. I want to give you as many Christmas post as possible so that you can make the month of the December the best one yet! To start off, I will be showing you how I made these cookie dough dips. I decided to create two so you can have options.  You can make your own version of this dip. When it comes to baking, you can change the recipe to your own preferences! The two cookie dough dip flavors I decided to make were the mint chocolate chip and the monster cookie dough dip. I was inspired to make this from the links below:dip-1

Buzzfeed post:

What you’ll need for the mint chocolate chip cookie dough dip:

  • ½ cup salted butter (room temperature)
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 cup flour
  • A splash of milk
  • 6 drops green food coloring
  • 1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Oreos for dipping

What you’ll need to do:

  1. Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a medium sized bowl. I had trouble with my hand mixer so I used a spoon to blend everything together.
  2. Add the vanilla and peppermint extract and mix.
  3. Add in flour slowly while mixing and add a splash of milk to thin consistency. Add more if you would like it thinner, add more milk.
  4. Add green food coloring one drop at a time and customize it to your liking. I added a ton of green because I wanted to be more of a Christmas green.
  5. Mix the chocolate chips together and serve. Suggest: Oreo’s for dipping.dip-4

What you’ll need for the monster cookie dough dip:

  • 8 ounces of cream cheese
  • ½ cup butter (room temperature)
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cup of old fashioned oats
  • ½ cup of mini M&Ms
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

What you’ll need to do:

  • With a hand mixer or stand mixer, beat the cream cheese, butter, and peanut butter until smooth.
  • Add in the powdered sugar, brown sugar, flour, and vanilla.
  • Add the oats, M&Ms and chocolate chips and mix with a spoon and serve. Suggest: Gingerbread cookies for dipping.dip-5

There you have it! Two cookie dough dip recipes! I am sure they will be a hit if you bring them to a party 🙂 My favorite one is the monster cookie dough dip. It’s so yummy!dip-2
