Hey everyone! I have been able to go a few times to the flower and garden festival recently. I’ve been able to try new things and it’s been a fun little adventure. I wanted to do a little review on what I have tried so far. So let’s get started!
Violet Lemonade- this is a non-alcoholic beverage in the Pineapple Promenade stand. This drink is super refreshing and is a must try. The flower garnished on top is even edible.
Watermelon White Sangria (Mexico)- this is a yummy drink. It’s a tad too sweet, but it is still a refreshing drink.
Schöfferhofer Hefeweizen (Germany)- I’m not usually a beer drinker, but this was surprisingly good! It was light and sweet with a lemony taste! Highly recommend. Currywurst with Paprika Chips (Germany)- a delicious savory dish. It had a lot of flavor.
Bellini (Italy)- a refreshing peachy sparkling wine. I liked this drink a lot.
Frushi (Japan)- like the violet lemonade, this is a must try. It’s not overly sweet and it was a little tangy. It helped balanced out the sweetness.
Tarte à l’Onion Alsacienne (France)- A very light and tasty savory dish. Would recommend to try this dish out.
Beef Tenderloin Tips, Mushroom Bordelaise Sauce, and Whipped Potatoes (Canada)- it sounds like a ordinary dish, but it was very tasty and this dish was full of flavor.
I suggest to go around the world and try things you wouldn’t think of trying. More often than not, you’ll probably end up liking it. If not, it creates a hilarious reaction and experience. All the drinks and dishes I tried were yummy and the only beer I tried even surprised me. So it’s always worth trying new things.
